How many approval stages can I configure?

No hard limit. Configure as many stages as your process requires, HR, hiring manager, finance, legal, executive. Each stage can have one or multiple approvers.

Do approvers need a Recrofy account?

No. Approvers receive an email with the candidate summary and approve or reject directly from it. Only the recruiting team managing the pipeline needs an account.

What happens if an approver doesn't respond?

Configure automatic reminders and escalation rules. If an approver doesn't respond within a set window, a reminder is sent and (optionally) the request escalates to a backup approver.

Can I have different approval chains for different roles?

Yes. Create multiple workflow templates and assign by role type, department, or seniority. Engineering hires can route to the CTO; executive hires to the board.

Is the approval audit trail exportable?

Yes. Every decision, timestamp, and comment is logged and exportable as CSV, covering compliance requirements and post-hire review.

Can approvals run in parallel?

Yes. Configure stages with AND logic (all must approve) or OR logic (any one approver). Parallel chains let HR and Finance review simultaneously.
